Piparras are a traditional long green pepper from the Basque Country of Spain. With a mild slightly pickled flavor, they make a wonderful accompaniment to Bonito Tuna and smoked fish. We love them as an appetizer drizzled with some Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil and sprinkled with Fleur de Sel Sea Salt! Delicious!

    Better than pickles

    Tangy, crunchy and piquant, these are so much more interesting and versatile than pickles. We eat these nearly every day, whether solo or with a snack, or chopped in a salad. They're also an excellent side garnish when we have tapas because they're a perfect flavor & texture complement to manchego cheese, Spanish omelette, morcilla and chorizo. At work, I often just grab a couple of them at noontime and crunch them for an energy boost. We are really glad that Gourmet Delights carries these!

    I love these peppers! They are so delicate and tender with just the right amount of spice and sweetness. My friends and I enjoyed them straight out of the jar, and within minutes the jar was empty! This is a must have in every pantry!
