My favorite jam in the household these days. I use it on toast, wheat croissants, English muffins, as a dollop atop yogurt, and paired with a cured sheep's milk cheese and some almonds. Soon I plan to use it in the center of thumbprint cookies instead of the usual strawb jam. This is a wonderful marmalade, great consistency, and the perfect mix of sweet and tart. I've put it on toast, and I've used it with sake in a marinade for beef to be used in a Japanese-inspired dish. Very happy to have found this! It's like having oranges & tangerines mixed in a sweet and somewhat sour blend. |
