The first production of 100% Bianchera extra virgin olive oil from Parovel with the Protected Designation of Origin "Tergeste" was produced in 2006 under the label UL'KA Tergeste D.O.P.
The ground is covered with grass to prevent erosion and fertilized with organic fertilizers and the pomace that comes from the processing of the olives.
Pressing occurs within 8 hours from the harvest in the continuous cycle estate mill which is about 2 miles from the olive groves.
