Local oranges from Michele Ferrante’s own farm are carefully air-dried and ground to capture the essence of Campanian citrus. A little touch of this powder adds amazing flavor to vinaigrettes and marinades, poached or roasted white fish dishes, and fresh cheeses. It can also be used in doughs to make orange pasta, crackers, and bread.
Michele Ferrante is a one-of-a-kind grower of Italian heritage products. On his small farm outside of Salerno in Campania, Ferrante produces heirloom and unique varietal beans, grains, peppers, and spices. Once only available locally, we are proud to be able to bring our customers these true farm-to-table specialties. These are products that can’t be found anywhere else in the world.
