Mushroom Spread with Truffles

I dollop s little of the spread on a variety of toasted bread slices for appetizers. I also combined it with Swiss cheese as the filling for an omelet. Delicious right out of the jar as a spread on a toasted baguette. It's always a hit with guests, but I never tell them it's from a jar. I lie and say I made it. And they believe me! Plenty of truffle flavor and the texture is spot on, kind of like a tapenade, which it resembles. This is a wonderful spread - great on top of steaks or in egg/cheese dishes! Hoping you get more back in stock so I can use it for stocking stuffers! This truffle spread is addictive - forget putting it ON something, I just eat it right out of the jar! |
