The recipes of all their products are patiently collected from the
Islanders and local fishermen.
The Groix et Nature range follows Breton traditions very closely with intense flavors seasoned with a hint of originality. The result is quite simply delicious.
Rich Breton lobster meat and Kari Gosse, a 19th century blend of curry spices that compliment seafood (including ginger, turmeric, cloves, pepper, and cinnamon), come together in this decadent recipe. Enjoy on a crusty baguette with a glass of champagne.
YES we were also concerned to see ginger, turmeric, cloves, pepper, and cinnamon, thinking they would overwhelm the lobster. After trying it, we were surprised, this is actually the most delicate of the Griox & Nature seafood rillettes! These spices may add some umami or similar feel, but they are not in the flavor profile.
