The Spanish believe canned seafood is a delicacy to be shared and enjoyed! They take great pride, and great care, to harvest the best seafood and package it with the utmost care. The result is the purest, most delicate, and exquisite tasting seafood on the planet! A true delicacy.

Conservas de Cambados is based in Galicia in Northeast Spain. This is the region of the Arousa Ría, which is well-known not just for its size, but also for the richness of its marine life. This area is particularly suitable for harvesting clams, cockles, mussels, and other bi-valves.

Each family lays claim to a 100 square foot section of sand and seeds the area with baby clams. These nurseries, known as "bateas", are very valuable and respected.

Conservas de Cambados takes great pride in selecting only the plumpest, tastiest clams. They hand harvest, then carefully cook these clams in sea water. They are individually packed into the tin, and the tin is filled with fresh, pure, salt water. The end result is amazing.... the freshest clams you will ever have the pleasure of eating.
