I thought it would be hot and bold like other horseradish mustards can be. Instead it is a sublimely sophisticated and fairly mild mustard, but much more than an ordinary mustard. Just spread it on a piece of fish that you're about to bake, straight from the jar. Your cooked fish will emerge with a wonderful glaze that makes the meal. I have this at least once a week. This is the best thing since sliced bread for any roast beef sandwich! The flavor is just intense enough to let you know of it's quality, but not overpowering in any way. Enhances the flavor of the meat, without overshadowing it. This stuff is the absolute best on ham or roast beef. It's also incredible mixed with maple syrup and brushed onto carrots for roasting soooo good! After trying this for the first time I knew it would be my go to spread for any meat sandwich. Simply put, it's divine! |
