Wonderful tool
By
Skip the hassle of dirtying a sequence of pots and bowls and just puree right in the pot. The design means you won't scratch the surface of any pot, and you can decide how extreme the puree will be.

Yesterday I made a hearty vegetable stew with an assortment of leftover vegetables and a diced, fresh-roasted butternut squash. It looked good but wasn't interesting. A gentle massage with this blender and it was a cohesive, delicious soup, though still chunky. An invaluable tool.

Most prized possession
By
This is without doubt, the most prized possession in my kitchen. Gravies to die for and a back up for the boat, when the water rises.
