I whip up two eggs with a tablespoon of milk and two tablespoons of sour cream. Then, I cook the eggs in a tablespoon of butter. A generous sprinkle of Porcini & Salt completes the dish. A lovely way to start the day. Porcini have this warm, earthy perfume, and it's great to be able to add a hint of it to dishes you've made. I love to finish a sauce with it, dust it over a salad, garnish a fresh-grilled steak, or put it on eggs as another reviewer wrote. We get lots of truffle accents this days, but it is something refreshingly different to add the porcini flavor to your food. Great product! This stuff is make or break when it comes to spaghetti or raman, either one. I use it every time. This is one of those spices that I will simply not be without. Delicate and balanced this really brings out a wonderful flavor. I tried it on some shrimp carbonara and it was just perfect. |
