Cherry Blossom Raw Honey - Organic (ADI)
Cherry Blossom Raw Honey - Organic (ADI) Be the first one to write a review

From their home base in the Abruzzo Region of Italy the Iacovanelli family, ADI’s owners, care for their bees with strictly organic techniques that blend solid traditions with contemporary innovation. They only harvest their honey when it is fully mature: when flavor, color, aroma, and nutritional content reach their peak.

This Cherry Blossom Honey is a pale, opaque, and creamy honey with a complex sweetness. We think it is excellent with smoky or sheep’s milk cheeses, Japanese green teas, and pastries.

Castillo de Canena First-Early Royal Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Castillo de Canena 'First-Early' Royal Extra Virgin Olive Oil Be the first one to write a review

The Castillo de Canena Estate has produced exceptional extra virgin olive oils in the Guadalquivir Valley of Andalusia in the south of Spain since 1780. The 'Royal' olive varietal is an ancient variety native to Jaén, Andalusia. In the 19th century its low-yields caused many olive oil producers to abandon it as it was not commercially viable. The Royal Olive was on the brink of extinction until Castello de Canena planted it at their estate, thus saving this heirloom olive for future generations to enjoy.

FIRST-EARLY ROYAL is harvested early in the season when the olives reach their peak flavor and aroma.

  • Brush it on bread, or just dip the bread right in.
  • Drizzle it on:
    • Vegetables and salads.
    • Seafood, poultry, and meats.
    • Soups.
    • Tomato sauces.
  • Pair it with your favorite vinegar for a delicious dressing or marinade

This is a deep green, medium-bodied, extra virgin olive oil with fresh and intense fruitiness. On the palate it is balanced, round, and shows a smooth entry, with all the flavors in perfect harmony.

The ancient heirloom Royal olive varietal produces one of the rarest extra virgin olive oils in the world. Buy a bottle and experience the extraordinary flavors only Canena's First-Early Royal can achieve.

  • First-Early Royal is presented in an original black bottle with white xerography.
  • No preservatives or artificial flavors.
  • This product contains no soy, gluten, nuts, dairy, or genetically modified ingredients.

Wild Burgundy Snails, a timeless French delicacy, are finally available to gourmets in the United States. The preeminent purveyor in Burgundy, Henri Maire, has satisfied the most discriminating palates in France since 1938. In Michelin-rated restaurants like Paris' Taillevent, Chez Lasserre, and La Grande Cascade, and in nearly 400 of America’s top dining rooms, these snails grace the finest tables. Similarly, retail consumers who pride themselves on using impeccable products, serve only the best in their homes.

As with all gastronomic delicacies, escargots exhibit varying levels of quality. Henri Maire's snails have maintained an unwavering reputation for being the best of the best amid the demands of the culinary capital of the world. The formula is quite simple, they begin with Wild Burgundy Snails (Hélix Pomatia Linne), delivered live. These savory delights are then hand-sorted by size, washed, and cooked in an aromatic bouillon according to the same ancestral standards used in 1938. These snails are treated and cooked according to the strictest hygienic standards (HAACP Certified) and are delivered to you in perfect condition.

La Chinata Smoked Paprika (Hot)
La Chinata Smoked Paprika (Hot) Be the first one to write a review

Artisan quality La Chinata (Denomination of Origin "Pimentón de la Vera") is generally accepted as the best. It is grown, smoked, and milled in the micro-climate of La Vera, Spain not far from where Columbus presented the first plants to Ferdinand and Isabela.

You will find this pimentón wood smoked paprika is a unique and versatile seasoning. If there is one spice that captures the essential flavor of Spain, it is this one. This is not the bland paprika you get at the local supermarket. Three different varieties of pimiento are slowly smoked over a low flame to produce a superb, intense flavor.

You will discover that our La Chinata Smoked Paprika is an excellent addition to some of your favorite recipes.

The most wonderful small sardines in olive oil we have ever tasted come from the Estuaries of Galicia, Spain. This is a true Spanish food gem and we are very pleased to be able to offer it to you.

Rich in vitamins D and B12, they are also an excellent source of calcium and omega-3 fatty acids.

The Spanish believe canned seafood is a delicacy to be shared and enjoyed! They take great pride, and great care, to harvest the best seafood and package it with the utmost care. The result is the purest, most delicate, and exquisite tasting seafood on the planet! A true delicacy.

Do NOT be fooled by other sardines. Conservas de Cambados makes a "Gourmet" line, which is their highest quality, and the ONLY ones we sell. "Gourmet" is clearly at the top of the front label as shown in the photo, the "Conservas de Cambados" logo is prominently displayed, and the tin is rectangular with rounded corners. Their other line "Bogar/Alamar" is made with imported seafood (not from Spain) or with lower quality seafood from outside of Galicia.

When in doubt verify the front label says "Gourmet" at the top, "Made in Spain by CONSERVAS DE CAMBADOS, S.A. FDA 15066" at the bottom, shows the "Conservas de Cambados" logo, and it is in a rectangular tin with rounded corners.

Shun Dual Core Kiritsuke 8" Knife (VG0017) Be the first one to write a review
Shun Dual Core Kiritsuke 8

In Japan, the kiritsuke is known as the master chef's knife. Use it for all the tasks for which you'd use a chef's knife. It works extremely well with vegetables; julienne, dice, or brunoise with ease. It's also an excellent choice for cleaning and portioning boneless proteins, and particularly fish. It slices cooked proteins with grace and ease. With its straighter edge, it's ideal for slicing cuts and push cuts. Once you try it, you'll find yourself reaching for your Shun Dual Core Kiritsuke more and more often.

About the Shun Dual Core series: Until now, it was considered almost impossible to create layered Damascus from two premium-quality stainless steels. But what was impossible is now a reality—and Shun is proud to bring it to your kitchen. The Shun Dual Core series features a Damascus blade made from two premium-quality, high-carbon stainless steels. Seventy-one alternating micro layers of high carbon, high chromium VG10 and VG2 stainless steels are roll-forged to produce a finer grain in the steel and to give it both strength and beauty. The laminated steel is then hot forged to create the herringbone pattern that allows the layers to alternate along the cutting edge. During normal use, the two steels will wear at different rates creating micro serrations along the edge so that the Dual Core’s extremely sharp edge feels sharp longer. Etched laminations in the blade reduce drag, helping food release from the blade and gliding through each cut quickly and easily. Dual Core blades are thin, light, and strong. Traditional Japanese octagon-shaped handles in ebony PakkaWood provide a comfortable and secure grip to complete the look of these beautiful knives.

Includes traditional Japanese wooden saya, or sheath.

  • A multi-purpose knife treasured by Japanese master chefs
  • Dual core construction: 71 alternating micro-layers of stainless steel that extend all the way to the edge
