1888 is made by using a one-ton press to extract the juice from whole Spanish olives. That's it:

  • no additives
  • no fillers
  • just real olive flavor without the salty aftertaste

1888 is so pure that it has 60% less sodium content than other "martini juices" and you get to enjoy the healthy benefits of olives and of course the delicious pure taste.

There are OTHER mixers on the market but if you look at the ingredients, you will be hard pressed to find one that is actually made from olives. The majority of the OTHER products you see on the market are nothing more than three ingredients: Water, salt and Lactic Acid. Where are the OLIVES in these other mixes? I want my martini with olives, not salt water. And the liquid in the olive jar is nothing more than this salt water with a hint of olive flavor from the olives that are sitting in it.

1888 is created through a special process which presses the olives in order to extract the true flavor from the Spanish olives.

Ingredients: Olive Juice (Pressed Spanish Olives), Water, Pimiento (Minced Pimiento, Guar gum, Sodium Alginate), Salt, Lactic Acid, Calcium Chloride, and Potassium Sorbate as a preservative. Contains NO alcohol.

Fabulous!01/18/2013

This olive juice makes the best Dirty Martini! The recipe is on the bottle. Add a cool glass and a couple of olives, and you'll find yourself thinking you just might be James Bond. In addition to making great drinks, this mix is delicious in a variety of recipes. I've splashed it into Greek and Italian vegetable dishes, several chicken recipes, and a couple of soups. It was amazing mixed into a thick Spanish stew with green olives, beef, onions, and tomatoes.

Dirty Girls like Dirty Martinis01/18/2013

We had a bartender tell us that olive juice from the jar is not the best way to flavor a dirty martini so we tried Gourmet Delight's 1888 Dirtiest Martini Mix. It made a killer Dirty Martini!
